It's probably overdoing it, if it did reach 35° it wouldn't last long , I wouldn't sweat it. ;)

Abbotsford has topped 35C in May before. May 29, 1983. But has never surpassed that mark in June.

If extreme/persistent heat didnt have serious real world consequences for many people and species I'd probably be on board too.
