The same way they put chance of snow flurries in the winter?

Showers moving across strait of Georgia..will they progress through Metro Vancouver or is there too much subsidence? It seems like we are under a dome here sometimes during this type of pattern.

Showers never materialised here let alone thunderstorms. Great job EC. . Wicked convergence zone in North Seattle to about Everett. Looks like constant downpours.

No rain here either, got a few drops but not enough to even wet the deck. The rain went down the strait and bypassed me completely.

I was in Port Mellon for a couple of hours yesterday and it was a monsoon, heavy, heavy downpour. Clear skies when I left home, drove about 30 km and at about 25 km it started sprinkling then was really coming down as I got there. When I came back home it was the same but in reverse, lighter rain then cloudy then sunshine. Surprising how small the micro climates are up here.

The blob is back! Oh well, it didn't stop us from having an excellent winter back in '16-17.

Euro model has a more typical pattern we are used to in mid- Summer becoming the norm again. All signs have pointed to a pattern shift. Bring out the A.C.

It's been off and on alot since 2013. It's more bad news for the salmon runs though due to the warm water. I wonder how this will affect temps in August. Will we see a repeat of August 2016 for heat?

I seem to remember a rapid cooling of the North Pacific during the fall that year. I think it was colder than normal by mid December. But I think if the flow is from the NE during the winter than the blob probably doesn’t matter.

I picked up 6.2 mm in under an hour last night. That's more than I got all day on Wednesday.

ECs forecast for mid week seems a bit ridiculous. I don’t see any model support for 27-28C with clear skies.
