18z GFS is fairly dry Wednesday into early Thursday morning. In contrast, the 12z euro shows about 3-4" in that timeframe.

Wow, March 2002 was impressive for Abbotsford. Two cold snaps with snow. The mid-late month one was pretty spectacular with 19cm of snow on the ground. Both events featured highs around 0C:

Re: March 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Those cold snaps seem like a dream..Early March and mid/late March? You know how difficult it is to get that cold here? Nm Jan or Dec lol. We just had a RECORD COLD February lol...which in reality was just a slightly below average temps wise, and just a very "continental airmass" month.
What defines the month of Feb for me the most was the pattern lock with abundant sunshine, followed by periodic troffs that keep running the same path all month long, with mostly all snow events. And the complete lack of rain. Yes. Score. But no real massive cold snap or huge dumps of snow. Pretty "meh" for a record month imo.

Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++

Re: March 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Where is the rest of #teamsnow? Have they given up? The accurate models leave little excitement when they are increasingly more accurate. Remember how bad forecasting was in the 80's? They would call for rain and it would snow for the whole day lol.
Those were the days my buttees..I thought theyd never end..
