Vancouver International Airport recorded a mere 31.2 millimetres of rainfall last month, making it the second driest March on record.

The driest March dates back to 1992 when 25.9 millimetres were counted at YVR.

The 30-year average for March rainfall in Vancouver is 114 millimetres, according to Environment Canada.

Finally, the highest temp in BC (and Canada) in March was 26.1C in Cultus Lake (the 20th), very close to the all-time March record high for BC (26.5C in Chilliwack R. Hatchery on March 29, 1994).

Any word on locations that set monthly records for lack of precipitation?
North end of Shawnigan Lake. Southern Vancouver island. 500ft

Most likely that station is accurate I hit 25c here in south Sardis on that day I recall, I'm about 10km north of Cultus Lk.

I have localized the station but we can't see it on Google Earth. It seems pretty accurate but I'm not sure the location is perfect though.
When I go there I will try to locate it precisely.
