MASSIVE amount of rain in the Okanagan. September is normally the direst month of the year in Penticton, but this year it had 60mm, the 6th wettest on record.

And yet despite all the rain, it's still drier than average year to date...

With rainy season back here we go I finished Sept. with 152.4mm, I sure wasn't expecting September to kick off our rainy season and no Indian summer to boot.

I'm sitting at 4.7mm to start Rocktober, again TS. were in the forecast but nothing here and it never looked convective at all today.

Well, you know EC and their propensity to fudge numbers. Anyone want to comment on the 246 mm that fell on the 17th? Maybe the rain gutter off the building funnels into the weather station...
