Still here, been busy with other things and not much to report...it's been warm and sunny, sometimes a bit cloudy, sometimes a bit wet...so not much to report.

Garden has grown like a tropical jungle, I have time now to go out and try to find my plants again, they're buried under 3-4' of grass and weeds.

It better be good , or you'll get the hook...Mike Keenan style.
If we get a few more new members with cool/weird names we should be good.

Actually my golf game is coming along , had my best score this year the other day, 94, at Pagoda ridge. Hoping to get it down into the 80's , similar to the summer temps in sardineland.

Why does Cliff Mass keep saying it’s going to be a wetter than normal summer, when NOAA, Brett Anderson etc suggest it’s going to be hot/dry? Where lies the disagreement?

Long range forecasting is such a crapshoot when it comes to precip especially in the summer. I haven’t read his reasoning but I have seen a few others suggesting we may see more rain this summer. My personal thought are a warm dry summer but I doubt we see the extreme dryness of some of the seasons the past few years.

Looks like May was the 3rd warmest in the past 5 years at Shawnigan Lake but also the 3rd warmest in the past 30 years. I didn’t have time to look further back. Spring isn’t what I remember when I was growing up, at least for most of this decade

EC suggest hot and dry too. I think some of the past dry Spring's have not necessarily translated into dry summers. Like 2015. I remember a dry May, June and early July in 2015 but also a big deluge around July 20 and lots of rain in late August. Maybe that's his reasoning.

Exactly! I need one of these :tractor: or one of these :mow: the sheep and horses do most of my mowing but not in the garden.

It's trying to rain, cool with high overcast at the moment, it was hot and sunny earlier today.
