I should'a but didn't have any eggs with me. I did have some little tropical fish I'd just bought and a big (Costco sized) bag of beet and sweet potato chips so I could have had fish :sard: and chips...the fish are only about 1" long so a very small snack. :sard:

Much nicer (cooler) day today, and it has sure cooled off tonight, had to turn the fan off, it was getting too cold inside. Happy to see a cooler forecast too. Just need some rain in it now.

Might be able to give some tips for a hefty fee Arbe was able to get Jr. all set up in a good location for his temp reading. :D

LG73 of the 80's was not like CKLG of the 70's and very early 80's they were more of a top 40 and solid gold oldies station, by the mid and late 80's they were then your repetitive top 40 station boring same tunes over and over.

Actually the Cultus Lake station hit 29.5c back on May 11th, I don't think I did probably 29c so it just felt like it did afew times probably the humidex made it feel like. And for June 32.1c and 33.9c so far for the Cultus Lake station so 2 times for the 30c mark this spring in Chilliwack.

Probably the first and last time I'll watch an NBA game nice win by the Raps (We the North), happy the Blues beat the Bruins and won the cup takes the bad taste of 2011 away. NHL draft is here next Friday anyone going to Rogers arena should be cool? when do they announce the NHL awards Petterson for rookie of the year or Blues goalie Binnington?

Oh, but I heard the Cultus Lake station may be transmitting fraudulent data. The Sheriff has placed it under investigation, last I heard. ;)

Well, the station is not ideally placed...

Yes, but I'm very suspicious about the 31.2C of the 30 June 2013.

June record.jpg

- The hourly max was only 26.1C...
- The air was very humid (dew point of 19-20C), which doesn't favour large temperature variations
- Wind was light all day with no drastic variations of direction
- Sky was clear all day

Other Tx on this day:

26.6C in Vancouver Sea Island (1.4km from YVR...)
27.8C* in Vancouver Harbour (* hourly max only)

30.0C in Burnaby SFU
30.3C in West Vancouver (not a good station)
30.9C in Delta Burns Bog
31.0C in Richmond Nature Park (no hourly data)
33.3C in Pitt Meadows (not a very good station)

So, I don't believe (at all) in this monthly record.

For me, the all-time high of June (reliable) is 30.6C on June 2 ( ), 1970.
