That was an actual decent rainfall last night! Refreshing and it didn't lower the temps much.

Had some heavy downpours up here in the Cariboo last night. Looks like we missed out on any rain back home.

Fishing was decent yesterday. Caught a couple of 16-17” rainbows.

Bowron Lakes trip is done. Overall we had pretty good weather. I will post some pictures in August. Lots of showers in the PG area and the Caribou yesterday and today. The ground is pretty wet and this morning I had to use a jack to hitch up my tent trailer because the jack wheel sank into the clay soil 4 inches deep as I didn't support it on anything which wasn't a problem last year.

It seems we are an anomaly in the world climate this year. Overall it was the hottest June ever and July is looking very hot as well. We definitely should be very thankful. Europe is just baking this year. For all the naysayers on climate change here's an article for you.

No problem, it was just strange that they both logged me out within a couple of days when I've been fine for months. I have the site bookmarked and so I'm not switching between the two.

Had about 1 1/2 cm over night.

I'm right around the corner from you at Green Lake and I haven't seen the grass this green up here ever. The sun rain mix hasn't been to bad and the wind has blown all the mosquitos to Watch lake. 😀

The mosquitoes are terrible on the shaded side of the cabin. Luckily our cabin is southern exposure at the front and the deck is 1 foot from the lake, so there is always a breeze and few bugs there. I haven’t even had to use bug spray

Good point. I'm not married yet, and I feel I'm past my prime for energy to have any kids.

Caught another couple rainbows this afternoon. Only went out for 1.5hrs or so, we had our 2 year old with us so that was long enough.

Weather was nice today. Partly cloudy and about 20 with light to at times calm winds.

We're now at the 10th anniversary of the legendary 2009 heatwave. 34.4C at YVR on the 30th! I was in Port Alberni at the time...believe it hit 40C.
