So far the precipitation is all going north of me, had a very brief sprinkle earlier but just a few drops.

Congrats, Mr. Stuffers. Welcome in advance to the horrors and amazing moments of parenthood. We're expecting our third--also in February (Feb 22). We'll have three kids age three and under.

Awwww, love these first photos, so exciting. Congratulations Mattman!

Still dry here, precipitation is still passing north of us. Any guesses if we'll see anything out of this storm?

The front will pivot and speed up later tonight pushing thru from west to east. Seems like the front is starting to lift north right now. Skies have cleared here.

This type of pattern (summer frontal systems focusing to our North, some subtropical moisture) often stalls over the Sea to Sky region causing floods there. If this thing moves through quickly it should be ok but if it stalls just to the north of us, than this long weekend could be very interesting for anyone going off road or hiking in the Squamish-Whistler-Pemberton regions.

The front will become more aligned in a north south direction before it swings thru the inner south coast. I’d bet it’s clipping along at a good pace once it starts to swing thru.
