That's funny. My wife planted some zucchinis, tomatoes and squashes. The zucchinis exploded on both sides of the fence even though they were planted on one. The Tomoatoes are just now ballooning! The squash were mislabelled and I have massive ripe pumpkins already!! So I turned around and planted my first crops of lettuce and spinach. Unfortunately bad upkeep on the spinach but my lettuce were extremely successful. We never watered anything  This summer has been perfect for gardening.

Lol. Yes indeed those tomatoes are hurting..only one bigger than a Toonie.
Of course it could easily be 18c and bommy during this strong EN, but instead March starts out troffy and chilly!  Bring on some 18c sunny days

Yes I noticed that too as I went away several weekends and relied on the periodic rains to keep my garden watered almost every weekend away lol.

The predictably unfortunate fizzle seems likely

So you're going to busy Kelowna in the boring Okanagan  :P
Peachland has a nice cafe and promenade by the water.
A few years ago went to Sun-Oka beach near Summerland for the first time , imo it's one of the best beaches in the Okanagan.

I'll be in whistler next week with the grandkids, I'm sure John will do just fine , he's a cagey veteran with 101 years of experience under his belt.
Speaking of John I found his skates from the winter of 1949-50, he coached Hawk in Pee Wee to a couple of championships in 56,57.
