Don't know about thunderstorms but definitely a couple hours of heavy rain as the cold front swings thru from the W/NW.

Yeah the lightning seems to be way offshore now that I look at it. But yes, looks like some heavy downpours incoming.

Never got the winds here that Abby Sr. had this afternoon, but now getting some gusty SW winds just had a gust to 40kmh, and 68.2mm in the rain bucket this month as Abby Sr. and l battle it out for the rainfall turtle derby. WB Snowgrams, hoping for mega snow this year for your business.

GEM shows that ridge in the long range holding further west. Would result in cool dry northerly flow for us.

Re: October 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
It was a rough day today . My sister n law lost her husband who also happened to be my golfing partner. He had shingles which attacked his lungs and caused pneumonia. Apparently internal shingles is quite rare. And unfortunately they were overseas on vacation so we couldn't lend them much support.Sardisbcwx wrote: ↑Thu Oct 17, 2019 11:36 pm Where's Grumpalump when you need him. l know Johnny is probably in Alberta as a roadie for Greta.
