Top 4 rain events for me:

1) New Year's Eve at 11:50 pm in 2015/16 my water line broke. Flooded out my basement.
2) Feb 2019 my water line broke under by garage or driveway. $50,000 bill to fix.
3) January 2018 Water line broke behind the shower where it came into the house. Decided not to go through insurance, and it cost me $1000 out of pocket.
4) In 2017 a drywall strew rusted out that was screwed into washing machine drain, and water starting pouring into my basement when washing clothes.

Not a great decade but that 2016/17 winter was so satisfying having grown up in William's lake and kelowna and missing consistently cold winters. Also the same year I discovered this forum as I was looking for ways to get advanced forecasts for my wedding in September.

Also, 2017/18 winter was pretty outstanding for me. Right place at the right time for snow, and the ski season ended up just outstanding.
