We've had many illnesses and diseases that wiped out many people in a short period of time in the past including the Spanish flu in 1918,which apparently killed 50-100 million which I find difficult to wrap my head around. But did they shut everything down back then like they are now ? I don't know.
What I was saying is that I've never seen the world shut down over a human virus in my life. But yes, I'm only 28 so I've had significantly less life experience than others.

Just though I'd check in and make sure we're all healthy. There may be a run on toilet paper and canned goods, but not seeds. I started my garden yesterday (in the greenhouse). Unbelievable weather, -3 at night 14 during the day.

9/11 was up there in it's uncertainty level for awhile life changed but got back to normal. This is a different war a health one. Again life will get back to normal eventually we'll have a better knowledge of what to do should this happen again in the future. The spanish flu I'm not sure what was done back then.

While this is a serious issue at home and abroad, the level of frenzy I see everywhere is not warranted. For example, Buying excessive amounts of toilet paper is not going to help anyone hoard off the virus or any other type of flu.
Glad to here you'll be kept employed Jr. our company is good to being in the food grade industry.

This weather has been a blessing for sure. I have a family member in retail and they said the warehouses are full of TP, it's just that enough cannot be delivered fast enough as many companies only have a few delivery days per week and the HOARDING continues. So this shortage is a direct result of greedy people. selfish people and hoarders and profiteers. That needs to stop and the best posts on social media are the public shaming of these types.

 how are you feeling today? Dont know your age but I've assumed relatively young? Not to assume its covid 19, but a lot of us going to get it at some point so might as well be now. Gain immunity hopefully. Look after yourself and feel better soon!

The spanish flu was about the same, but I dont think they had ventilators or anything. Unfortunately it bears a major resemblance. I wonder what people hoarded back then

Reached 17.8c in south Sardis just incredible, was able to find milk @ Shoppers out here in south Sardis. Save On had only skim yuck! and that silk almond. Got a couple of those but then found 3% after, limit 1 per customer. Feels like a Sunday or holiday by evening with everything closing early.
