Re: April 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
Yes, I am doing ok, no worse for wear due to the virus, anyhow. I am VERY worried about my Dad though. As many know, he is a quadriplegic with breathing difficulties on a GOOD day, let alone if he contracted COVID. He resides in George Pearson Center in Vancouver, a care home for disabled people. I am so worried about the virus getting in there. I already watched my Dad nearly die and spend months in ICU weaning off a ventilator when he was first injured. It was horrific and I am terrified of this virus.Sardisbcwx wrote: ↑Sun Apr 05, 2020 8:40 pm Lovely to see your in good health Mrs. Leighbugs l hope and spirits, we'll all get through this together. l'm off Thursday/Friday should be nice weather to enjoy.
Please, please, please, everyone be careful. I am sure you all are taking this seriously but if not, I am begging you to do so. I am traumatized over what I witnessed with my father, the months in ICU, the gasping for air, his eyes wide as saucers, the tubes and wires hooked up to him coming our of everywhere...but he had his family beside him. If you get COVID and end up in ICU like him, you are alone. With no familiar face to sit beside you and no familiar hand in yours to help ease your fears. Please take this virus seriously if you are not, already. Come next winter I want all of us here safe and sound, ready to track the latest snowstorm as we have always done. Please, everybody, be safe.

Nice. A dry period with precipitation in the long run. We need a nice balance of wet/dry and it's time for the dry part.

Went to Squamish today.
It was 12C, sunny, and quite windy. One of my favourite types of weather.

It always snows in December in the Kootenays

Similar patter of April 2004. One of the driest on record and warm.

Ya that's too bad but I can see why. Some of the things I've noticed at the local trails, the following people have the right of way and won't budge for anyone : Cyclists , joggers, families, couples holding hands, couples not holding hands with male on the inside lane, people in a deep discussion, people in a shallow discussion. Did I leave anybody out?Canada Goose wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 10:00 am Niiiiice...

But I did notice that females have more etiquette, therefore there's a greater chance that they'll move over when with other people.
