Was able to go for a round of golf yesterday at Greenacres. Terrible shooting with the long layoff but as they say, your worst day on the golf course is better than your best day at the office!

Looking forward to a light show tonight. Stream of convection appears to be intensifying as it hits the N Shore.

Also cannot believe how hot it will get. Few +30C readings possible while Toronto sees 2-4cm of snow!

Similar dynamic setup to Sept 7 2019 developing due south. Could see severe t-storms out that way. Onshore flow killing any favorable setup in Metro Van.

At least mother nature is providing some action right?

Edit: That cell near Oak Harbour has some supercell-like properties. Rotation near the back edge.

that would be lovely! some active weather would be welcome and we haven't had a good thunderstorm in a while

Update: Now I'm getting heavy rain, lightning, and thunder. :shock:

I'm getting lightning! I've seen several flashes. Radar looks epic :D :clap:

Thunder and really heavy rain a few minutes ago- I ran outside to make sure it wasn't hail- my lettuces wouldn't like that!
