The climate has always been changing and always will. It's not catastrophic nor is it man made. There are many scientists who agree with me but they are silenced so that Greta, who is am uneducated 16 year old with autism can do what she has been programmed and controlled by the corrupt radicals to do. That is, reinforce fear into her life and others through spreading lies that can not only be debunked with science but also common sense.
I'n all for saving the earth but what these climate alarmist radicals want to do will actually destroy it. Sorry, I've tried to refrain from sharing my unpopular opinion but people keep bringing it up so there ya go.

This misinformation in this is mindboggling. It's amazing that you can get to this point in life, see how every year is hotter than the last year and think anything is up.

Take 5 minutes, look at legitimate studies and tell me we are not responsible.

You like weather and follow it closely. Do these ridiculously powerful record breaking hurricanes each and every year not clue you in? Amazing

The fact that so many people like you are buying into this ridiculous climate alarmist stupidity is what's mind boggling. The fact that anybody could possibly think that man has the power to dramatically change the climate to catastrophic levels so that the earth is inhabitable is utter non sense. But hey most people don't realize that the studies are heavily biased and misinterpreted by the media. Not only that, the scientists who claim man made climate change is real are lying directly to us. Humanity is full of brainwashed indoctrinated people. It's a shame.

I've warned people before. They don't listen.

The other alternative is to start handing out bans, which is something we're trying to avoid...

Wow.  to this post. I don't see anything wrong discussing climate on weather forum. People have different opinions nothing wrong with that. Maybe we should ban Nito when we don't agree with his post.

The issue is that people are very passionate about their beliefs on the climate debate and often it causes people to argue and divide. This does not create a positive environment. Sure, we sometimes disagree with each other's posts but typically that's okay. The issue is super controversial and political topics where people hold strong opinions on and are easily offended. The climate debate is one of them. People need to respect that this is a weather forum, not a political and environmental discussion group. If this topic must be discussed, can we at least do it in a clearly labeled separate thread so those who do not wish to discuss it don't feel obligated?

I left the American forums because of the arguing and fighting. I love this group and do not want to have to leave it either. However, I'm really getting tired of the climate debate getting thrown into a thread specifically setup for weather forecast discussions.

STORM already posted a couple numbers... here are a few more across Canada. Impressive turnout in Montreal. Toronto looks pretty low.

While we are at it, why don't we segregate all Canuck posts, political posts, fishing posts, etc etc etc. Sorry if i stray unexpectedly in a post or two a month :sorry:
Of course it could easily be 18c and bommy during this strong EN, but instead March starts out troffy and chilly!  Bring on some 18c sunny days

I agree it should be kept separate from the main forum, but I don’t see an issue to have a separate area to discuss it? That way those who wish to stay away from the debate can stay out of it.
