I have befallen upon a terrible summer addiction; McDonald’s cold beverages :( . It started innocently enough with the odd iced coffee but now I’ve disordered their Frappuccinos are actually pretty good. I can barely pass a McDonald’s empty handed these days. I might need an intervention at the current rate it’s going.

I can't really say so far this summer l've had a brutal day temperature/humidity wise perhaps maybe we had 1 or 2 where humidity has been a factor but not really and that helps indeed.

Pretty standard midsummer day in central Saskatchewan, along the hwy 16 corridor between Yorkton and Lloydminster. Clear skies with afternoon temps topping out between 26c and 30c.

First pic is between Yorkton and Saskatoon, second is entering Saskatoon, and third is in Lloydminster along the provincial border with Saskatchewan to the left and Alberta to the right.

Nice Trips, awesome blue skies Saskatoon looks like a vibrant prairie city.
Interesting bordermarker l'm assuming those towers represent the Sask/Ab border?

Yep, those towers are right at the border!

Clouds started to roll in this evening. Showers and rumbles of thunder to the west in Edmonton, might see some here in Lloydminster tonight before it clears right back out tomorrow morning.

Ya Alberta looks like lots of instability this evening then clearing late.
Not sure if l would have gone with a couple of towers like that for a border marker perhaps some kind of archway with the Ab/Sask coat of arms on each side.

13.2/24.0. Just about a perfect summer day. Ideal for an afternoon hike to Norvan Falls.

The weather stations in Canada that had a higher mean AND a higher max temperature for July than Little Chicago, NWT (north of the Arctic circle) were:

Osoyoos,BC
Ashcroft, BC
Lytton, BC
Lillooet, BC
Summerland, BC
Kamloops, BC
Penticton, BC
Kelowna (UBCO), BC (NOT the airport, that was cooler than Little Chicago for the mean)
Creston, BC
Vernon, BC
