18Z GFS has almost 1 foot of snow for areas along the south coast assuming 10:1.

well, I mean depending on how the moisture arrives and how the arctic air arrives, the E. coast of the island can get buried. Most of the time I get snow, it has rarely been forecast because the models don't handle "strait effect" precip that well. I guess the question most people are wondering is if this will be a region wide event like 2008 or localized?

Yes too many false alarms in the past..i have learned...the 48 hour rule. Even then, somewhat sketchy for LM+snow :think: :think:
