Odd progression. I don’t recall seeing something like that before. Good or bad, I doubt it verifies

Just a thought.... 850s look to be around -8/-9 on Thursday evening. Could it be the classic case of models warming things too quickly?

Like it’s possible it stays snow longer than modelled?

Looks like the GFS still shows 5-15cm on Friday before things warm up a tad with showers later in the evening and on Saturday. A bit more snow early Sunday with the arctic front.
