Re: January 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
Just drove home from Delta... roads are fine
measured about 3cm or so, thought it would be much more. Was a blizzard when I left at 9pm
Looks like some good stuff about to roll in!
Also, I can finally not see my grass for the first time all season

Mesoscale models are showing that band slowly lifting north and hitting the mainland in a few hours.

It’s ripping here now. Probably 4-5cm/hr rates.

Re: January 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
I cleared my snow board for the night at about 12:10am, a few minutes late. Looks like probably a good 3†since then.

Southern sections may actually win one here. Getting blasted in Cloverdale right now. It’s dumping and adding up fast

Re: January 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
well, it's been steadily snowing all evening, but it's so fine and light the wind just blows it away. I can't really see if anything is accumulating. It is of course, but for example, I use the fence top as a reference, but since it keeps blowing off I have no idea what has accumulated. Ground looks decent but just can't see in the dark that well.
Hopefully it picks up because it's so fine right now at this rate it will take forever for anything to build up.
