Another cold night down to -0.1 but at least there's no wind tonight.

Only another 5 days until Spring, hope it warms up soon or I'll have to start planting iceberg lettuce.

Yesterday was quite a bit warmer, I was a bit surprised. I had dressed the kids up a bit too much. The ski season is done for me I am guessing. Cypress is now closed.
Why not try cycling to work, grocery store, anywhere!

Can't say it turned out bad way better than when it started. It's a shame they'll loose all this revenue during spring break. 14.2c when l left for work in south Sumas.

I could not believe the difference in temperature and overall feel between Saturday and today. Saturday had highs barely above freezing here, and well into the negative single digits once you factored in the wind chill. Today was in the mid teens with almost no wind... you could get away with short sleeves. It was like going from January to April in the span of 48 hours.

YXX recorded a wind chill of -12C at 9 am Saturday and an afternoon temperature of +14C at 5 pm today.

Yeah, absolutely stunning today just goes to show how deep the cold air was on Saturday and how strong the mid March sun can be. 15.1c was my high today.

Weekend looking dry and even into early next week according to last couple runs of GFS. That would be 2 weeks with no precip. What a bizarre fall and winter season for rainfall patterns. Super wet September, one of the driest November ever, buckets of rain in Dec and Jan and now a parched March.
