Imean, I"m glad of all the rain we've had; it keeps reservoirs full, I haven't had to water too much and the plants look grand. BUT I hate mowing my lawn; rain/sun/rain/sun... this pattern has given my lawn a rally bad attitude.

Wait are you hoping for a drought so your lawn doesn't grow
I'm afraid the rain/sun/rain pattern looks to continue. The heat wave looks like more of a brief warm stretch.

Just enough to launch the lawn into over drive - lol. I was doing really well with my garden but the wet, warm, sunny rotation gave the weeds and grass an exponential growth spurt, so now my garden is very green and lush...with weeds. It's good though, my pasture is growing really well for the sheep.

Stunning, gives realization life does go on. Awesome job everyone only 2 Covid19 cases in B.C. today. A little worried opening up may cause a spike. Anyone going to eat out at a restaurant or waiting? think l'll wait as much as l miss Boston pizza nachos.
Congrats coach Toks winner of the Jack Adams trophy for coach of the year.

Re: May 2020 Forecasts and Discussion
Last Summer was the perfect combo no long lasting heat mixed in with some rainfall and no smoke. Would love a Summer like that again.
Congrats coach Toks winner of the Jack Adams trophy for coach of the year.

Re: May 2020 Forecasts and Discussion
I prefer brief warm periods. Prolonged periods of the same weather day after day gets boring (unless it's snow).
It's been an amazing spring so far. Best in years.
It always snows in December in the Kootenays

Can't disagree. There's something in it for everyone. Hope it continues into the summer.
