Noticed this last month how big a role the outflow plays in blowing the snow around but especially evaporation in the dry air even if its below freezing.

Freezing rain? I do remember getting freezing rain at -5° but not sure if it was 96 or 97

Was Dec 29th, 1996 after the big snow. Last major ice storm to hit Vancouver.

And here come those pop up showers with that next shortwave. Weather could get violent with the sunbreaks tomorrow.
