Re: August 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Beautiful hot and sunny weather today in the Chilcotin. A bit cloudy in the morning, but it cleared up in the afternoon. Perfect for a helicopter ride. I ain't leaving. It clouded over and rained around 8 tonight though. More coming later is what I see in the forecast.

No Waddington pics? It must have felt like home..
Are we prepared for this stormy, chilly and wet November, LN style, with our first warning shots coming early due to this potentially historic LN

Re: August 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Or we could go with the GfS solution. 850 mb temps of 27C. That’s on the upper end of what is historically possible here

Re: August 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
We decided to not go down that far. At $1500/hour, we decided to just go 15 minutes down the valley and not 30 minutes (how far down the Waddington flight is). My dad was paying, so he called the shots.
Here is one pic you might like. a mountain top 7 Years in Tibet scene was filmed here. The covered all the trees in white sheets to make it look like it was far above the tree line.

Re: August 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Looks like the jet will become increasingly amplified as we head into late August. Hence the wild solutions from both the GFS and euro.

Picked up 0.5mm the past 2 days. Currently 21C with sunbreaks. That ULL was a total bust here.
