Re: August 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
Models , especially the GFS are alot drier for this week and beyond. Weather.com showing sunny for more than a week now. Even the latest CPC 6-10 and 8-14 day outlooks now show a higher probability for above normal temps for Pac NW. August 2012 and 2016, 2017 saw hot temps toward the end of the month I'm thinking we see the same this year.

Re: August 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
Could just be me but around this time, Around mid August maybe it's the sun angle but I start to get a bit of a fall feel. Not necessary temperature wise but just the sun angle and the feel in the mornings and late evenings it's hard to explain but ever since I was a kid I felt that.

A 2012 repeat would be lovely...nearly bone dry until mid October.Coquitlam79 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 09, 2020 12:56 pm Models , especially the GFS are alot drier for this week and beyond. Today was really nice. You guys better enjoy it while it lasts.
Definitely feels like summer is on its last legs this year for some reason. Seeing lots of trees with colour already on the north shore.

It always snows in December in the Kootenays
