Unpopular opinion...but what exactly is good about windstorms? I mean I live on a farm so it has real life consequences like damaging our shelters and whatnot, but aside from that, I just dont see the appeal.

For me it's more exciting and different than cloudy with rainy periods and rainy with cloudy periods which has been the weather for most of the past 4 months. I get branches on the netting covering the chicken runs and trees on the fences but I still enjoy the change...wouldn't want it every day for sure, then it'd be boring and too much work.

The excitement of chasing recycling/garbage bins down the road or Christmas blow ups apparently.

I hadn't a gust of 40 km/ h sitting by the window, sounds like a steak is being cooked on the power lines. Winds seemed to have eased here

More than continues. It's colder this run. Friday doesn't have a transition to rain.

Holy Crow winds picked up out of no where here had a gust to 46kmh and temp shot up to 12.5c now. :shock:
