What will the last month of the year feature, besides Winter solstice, Christmas and New Year's Eve? Hopefully snow!

I think all the above have been Covanceled.

At face value that looks like a pretty classic transition into a potentially cold pattern late month into Jan

Broad flat ridging just offshore, gradually building into a wide GOA/Aleutian block with downstream troughing across western and central Canada.
