This new climate sucks. Likely going from a summer pattern straight into a rainy one that 4CH not set to die.

Re: September 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
Will be interesting if we follow the summer-fall 1896 script, where we went from drought (only 16.2mm of rain fell in that entire astronomical summer period), followed by constant rain in late October/early-mid November (~400mm from Oct 28th to Nov 15th), and then into the freezer by mid November. That mid-late November arctic blast was a beast, probably only exceeded on duration + extremity of cold combo in November on records by the 1985 event.wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 29, 2022 5:25 pm This new climate sucks. Re: September 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
The fact is the models are flip flopping in the extended. No consensus at all. Could go either way after Thanksgiving. There have been years where it barely rained until Novemeber so Vlad could be right with his guess .1987 , 2002, 1986 I believe as well. In early Novemeber 2002 the Metro reservoirs were under 20% capacity.
