Copper room at the Harrison?
If not next clue? the island?
Sorry, I'm gonna have to disqualify you on a technicality..it's Harrison Hot Springs! And the restaurant was the Black Forest Steak & Schnitzel House, very good German food and large portions . Then at the plaza in the evening was a pretty good old geezer rock concert ,band name Rockwell, our age or older, did all sorts of songs from 60's-70's, even young kids were movin to the groovin, fun day.

 Seems like my suspect snowfall measurements got in the way of my location guessing Skipper :wtf: :shifty: a friend of mine had supper there and enjoyed the food.
It's nice to get away for the day in driving distance for a change. l wasn't sure if you got to the island this year, we're headed up to 100 Mile for a week July 14th back on the 21st hoping to see some Tstorms. :rainzap:

Quite the moon tonight. It’s not the greatest quality, but I tried to get a decent shot of it and a couple of other pictures from work.

l've seen it advertised on those giant digital advertising boards in Chilliwack and Abby but thought it was jut the provincial alert system so can you program it for your local area or province or all of Canada? locally would be sufficient as l wouldn't want my cell buzzing night and day. :wtf:

Probably stays aloft though as the surface winds remain onshore. I’d be very surprised if there is enough surface smoke to significantly affect the air quality.

Similkameen Falls was nice. Wasn’t aware it was 1000 m elevation so it was about 10˚C cooler than I had counted on! Thankfully no biggie as I learned long ago that there’s little downside to packing extra warm layers and not needing them but huge downside to the converse. Nights were nippy: got down to 3˚C this morning!

Smoke aloft is definitely evident. Will probably hold daytime maxima down a few degrees.
It's called clown range for a reason.

One plus of the smoke. I forgot about it keeping the temps down. High of 27c tomorrow and then 2 days of 30c I'll be very happy if we don't make it.

I noticed this morning the light was dimmer and reddish and the shadows were bluer so I thought there was smoke. At least it's all up high.

Tomorrow is a 0 tide (super low) so I'll be at the beach for a couple of hours with a friend who is a naturalist and full of knowledge about all the little creepy crawlies.

Been seeing some really low tides at the local beaches lately, don't think I've ever seen the tide numbers that low before.
