Last time I was in Chicago in August, dew point was around 20ËšC. Temperature was around 25. People were talking about how cool and dry it was.

Ya I dunno..seems kinda muggy to me. They don't all love the saturated summer rather saying its cool there. Older people wouldn't like that situation and say it's cool and dry I dunno

Just checked and it's currently 27C with a dew point of 26C in Orlando. That works out to a relative humidity of 94%, which gives us a humidex value of 40C. Keep in mind, it's 2:03 AM there right now. Without A/C, I doubt anybody is getting any sleep.

Euro is on fire! Models have been pretty solid in the calls for precip. It could be a very showery September!

The 12Z Euro is warm and humid for Friday and Saturday. Dew points in the range of 14-18C is uncomfortable even with temperatures slightly below 30C.

Pssst...Hey fellows it’s me Sardinian l got lost in space then wound up on Gilligans island l couldn’t find the Skipper to rescue me.

Lytton is supposedly the hottest place in Canada, but could only manage a pathetic 20.2C yesterday. Still, definitely a lot better than a humidex of 40!
