A lot of lightning around Golden Ears Park and Stave Lake this afternoon. I hope no campers were struck

A couple of peaks in the central valley with new snow. :o top photo is Mount Sleese the finger as l call it and below is called Lady's peak.

Wow, Thot perhaps another Rocktober heat hump complete with shorts and tees :thumbup: we reached a high of 15c @ the pond in south Sardis.

Be careful with buying what the ensembles are saying. Based on MJO harmonics, which are fairly reliable, October is looking like a troughy, active and wet pattern for Western Canada.

l agree Nords, l'm not buying off on the mild winter talk.

Tonight's fun fact "did you know" in my best Get Smart voice. :D
If the Harvest Moon occurs in September then it replaces the Corn Moon but if it happens in October then it replaces the Hunters Moon. :o It's a chilly 9c @ the pond in south Sardis.

Last night's harvest moon, l must say the Samsung S23 Ultra has a decent camera, past cameras for night time shots were grainy.
It's currently 9c @ the pond in south Sardis.

They don’t necessarily contradict each other. Could be torchy and dry for a week then the fire hose could turn on.
It's called clown range for a reason.
