Well unfortunately Ty my man we have to get through most likely another long hot, dry smoke filled summer before we can even think about winter. :(

I can't possibly be the only one who likes it 30 degrees and over? Minus the smoke and fires? I really love the heat. I went to Costa Rica at the beginning of this month. It was 38-40 degrees every day, low of 30 degrees at night. No air conditioning. Just a fan pointed directly at your face while you slept. I loved it! Maybe I'm a weirdo, LOL.

What about last year? Was June wet over there? It was slightly warm and drier than normal over here.
Was fairly average over here. Ended up being slightly drier than normal at YVR with temps being pretty much bang on average.

I'll take as many 30C+ days as I can get, but with cool overnight lows. 30-35C during the day with lows around 10-15C are just about ideal.

I would like it too.

38-40 in Costa Rica (and lows of 30!) seem very high... All-time high record in the country is 40.4C. ;)

Well, I didn't have a good weather station or anything but all I know is it was HOT. All I had to go off was an outside thermometer that my friend's parents had set up in the shade. The pic was taken at 9 am LOL. 38 degrees. I don't know how much I trust weather data from Costa Rica. The locals there had never even seen a thermometer before. My friend's parents brought it from Canada when they moved there and whenever locals are at their house they have no idea what it is! Apparently they don't have reliable forecasting down there either. I am in serious doubt that 40.4 is the highest recorded temperature...maybe observed by a professional? But considering many people didn't even know what a thermometer was, I am sure it has maybe been higher but unobserved? I don't know. Hmmmm.

I like heat as long as it is accompanied by rain or at least clouds instead of blue dome skies.

Hot doesn't mean it was 38 or 40... ;) Don't forget that when it's warm and humid (like in Costa Rica), you feel warmer than the real temperature.
Come on, 38C at 9am in Costa Rica is impossible... And a thermometer on a wall is far to be accurate. ;)
About the all-time high in the country, you can trust me.
You can check it there: http://www.mherrera.org/temp.htm
