Still on track for a warm mid/late week. First 20C of the year at YVR likely...temps closer to 27C inland,

Ya, it's pretty rare to see warm and dry May and June in YVR:

2015
2004
1995
1969
1958
1940

Sometimes, they are dry but not warm, or vice versa. Sometimes May is warm and/or dry but June isn't warm and dry (2018 is a good example).

Nevertheless, if May is warm and dry, June can be quite normal.

Tx of the day:

17.4C in YVR
20.9C in Whistler
21.8C in Pitt Meadows
21.9C in Abbotsford
24.0C in Ashcroft
25.7C in Lillooet
26.3C in Pemberton
26.8C in Lytton

It's gonna be well above 30C in the Okanagan late week...

I could definitely see temps topping 31/32C in the usual spots... Lytton, Osoyoos, etc.

Maybe it's because I'm in the sunny triangle of Ladner, Tsawwassen , White Rock , but I really don't remember a whole lot of rain last year in the
May-August period, probably one of the driest 4 month stretches ever.

Dry streak is already at 14 days here. This is going to be a very notable dry stretch for so early in the season

Looks like some offshore flow is trying to get going. Should be a little stronger and spread farther west tonight and tomorrow. Should be some very mild lows in some places the next could nights.
