Once the dry pattern is locked in those showers in the long range don't amount to much if anything at all, but we shall see.

27.6C in Hope today. 24-27C in the Okanagan.

Hmm... YXX has been reading curiously low the last two afternoons. It was easily 25C today most everywhere in Abbotsford... except there, apparently. :roll:

That's odd. With a station like YVR, you sometimes expect a 5-10 degree with East Van during hot summer days.

Can't think of why YXX is reading so low. Sensor issues perhaps?

Maybe, but whatever it was seems to be resolved today. It's already 25.7C there at noon... that's 2C higher than their high yesterday. Not only that, but they are 2.2C warmer than Hope is at this hour. :?

Perhaps temperatures are just inconsistent due to the airmass and varying wind directions.

I would agree with you however the gfs seems to be upping precip totals to 2" so we shall see.

GFS showing some rain by next week, NAEFS also shows some.
