So this heat coming up this weekend is it your garden variety or does it have some meat to it, I hope it's temporary it's way to early to be scorching out there just yet.

For a good station in our area, look at Port Moody station (I saw it and it's a good location; I need to come back to take a photo).

Pitt meadows station is not bad actually enough grass they also did a calibration on the temperature way back maybe 10 years ago or so it use to read too high. Yes please more weather station photos Sherriff Goosed you can get it in there with your background and get the real stuff. :shifty:

18z is fairly dry thru day 10. Will probably not add too much more precip to the monthly tally.

Looking pretty tame. Possibly some instability. Pop up showers and thunderstorms

Interesting take. Luckily I won't have to as it looks like we'll escape this awful ridging at the start of June

Cooking out there today. Certainly feels much warmer than the thermometer would suggest.

Looks like a thunderstorm heading through Harrison/Aggasiz. Maybe Chilliwack peeps could see some action?

SWS for the Interior for heavy showers and T storms that could lead to flash floods and landslides.

Does anyone know if there has been a similar declaration in BC? If not should there be? I am not sure what the definition is for drought. I think it has something to do with a certain number of years in a row with below normal precipitation.

But is it a drought in Washington?
