Re: July 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Hey Butties, I'm still up in the great Northwest Territories.
First day the weather was a perfect 23C and partly cloudy. Since then it has been dominated by a low pressure system from the Arctic. Yesterday I walked in 60-70 km/h sustained winds and sideways rain, which stung my face. Temp was ~10-12C throughout the day.
I'm still trying to make friends with the mosquitoes but I think they like me a little too much...
Here are a few pics:

Re: July 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
For some reason there was a glitch in my weather station. My all time low for this year was -8C in February. However, randomly on June 26, it recorded an all time low of -40C. All other temperature readings are normal and accurate. I just cleared the all time low to reset it, but now it no longer shows -8C in February as the all time low, which in fact, was correct. Ugh.
Any idea what could have happened?

Of course, if its cold today and warm tomorrow, its blamed on climate change.

12z was horrible. We're supposed to be in the dry season and it's showing 2"+ of rain.

It's showing that amount even at hour 258. It would be quite something for reducing the forest fires this year.
