More likely, he didn't feel like creating a new account or has been too busy with other things... such as his blog: https://questioningthedata.wordpress.com/

Yes , I do remember his quote to me that he was turning 40 and had a lot of irons in the fire , and wasn't sure how much longer he would hang out with us , I guess the collapse of the old weather site was his cue to leave.

Yup.

I think a lot of us around the same age can probably relate. I also turned 40 this year... but I decided to just post less often rather than disappear.

All my irons have been pulled out of the fire and are now in my golf bag  , but I would like to do something about my lower back problem, maybe hit the gym in the fall to loosen and strengthen my gluteus medius, gluteus minimus, and gluteus maximus, apparently that's what's been the issue for many years after a disc injury I had in my 20's...only then will I be able to realize my driving maximus and putting minimus ;)

Model trends have been to keep the ULL stalled off the coast longer this week. Meaning warmer than average temps should persist through Friday but also lowering any chances of thunderstorms midweek

Yup. I can relate, turned 40 myself this year too. Now we have two kids under two. When the third one arrives in February, no more model riding or perusing the forum for a while. I'll likely be relegated to just checking EC's 5am forecast.

I'm turning 40 in February. What...is 40 the age to retire from being a weather nerd or something?! NEVER. I'll never retire! I may actually have time to post MORE, not less. My kids are almost 19 years old and 13 years old so I'm getting more freedom not less.
