Ah good job T3, that was my next question what's this Legacy GFS model is that the one last year that was called CVS or whatever, I don't check models during the summer months and just started looking this week when I noticed that model.

The legacy is the old GFS. They upgraded the model a while back but kept the old one under "legacy"

Valley likely wouldn't freeze until overnight Wednesday due to the wind. Assuming the clouds hold off early Thursday, sheltered areas of GVR and the island could see back-to-back freezes.

Could see highs only around 10C on both Tuesday and Wed. Under full sunshine on Wednesday that would be pretty ridiculous considering its only early October.

Pattern change in the long range. Aleutian low makes a comeback with strong zonal and SW flow for the PNW.
