Map #2 10-15 days is that a more consolidated flow? looks better for mountain snow?

Re: December 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Sad state of affairs happening here; EC has issued a "warmer than normal" winter forecast for the entire country yet here we are in an ENSO neutral state and a deep solar minimum. Maybe it was a bad dream I had?

Yes Michael. Sadness. But greta warned us.
MAYDAY MAYDAY! We need some warm sunny weather this month. Some showers mixed in would be good too

Re: December 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Weve literally been saying that since October. Its split flow or mountain rain. Not being negative, that's just honestly the answer to your question if youre a betting man.Sardisbcwx wrote: ↑Tue Dec 03, 2019 5:43 am Map #2 10-15 days is that a more consolidated flow? looks better for mountain snow?

Re: December 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
I haven’t seen EC winter forecast but I’d guess warmer than normal for the entire country just ain’t gonna happen.

Re: December 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Looks like the pattern sets us up for below normal temps around hr 300 on the 12z GFS... so there is that.
