E wind picking up and has devoured all the moisture. Temps warming up. Guessing it will be +1C rain showers when the airmass finally saturates.

Sucks, but what it really means is that it will probably be sucky for the next week. Beyond that point: here there be clown range.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Pictures from the Light Parade last night. It was cold and the crowd quickly dispersed after the vehicles had all passed the first time, they go around twice and park on the street the second time. It was pretty amazing the time that people put into decorating their rigs. The thing that looks like a fountain is a real fountain, first time I've seen that

I JUST SAW A SNOWFLAKE!!!!  Just one tiny little frozen white dot floating down...but where there's one there can be more right?

Peers out window, sees little brown bugs flying around. Minutes pass and...

Wow! Another snow flake! Winter's not cancelled.

This winter is having a 2018/ 2019 feel to it so far. Advertising cold, gets watered down advertising mountain snow, turns to rain as soon as it hits the believable range. Hopefully late dec/January is the real deal, but I recall a lot of talk about that last year as well. Only February saved us.

All my riding is at 1600 meters so I'm stoked on the forecast.
