Re: January 2023 Forecasts And Discussions
This has to be the most under-hyped arctic outbreak i've seen here. Maybe we've been spoiled the last couple of years with the craziness of Dec 2021 and 2022.
GEFS totals still suggesting we get some sort of dump around the 6th. That's a while to wait and we'll see if it actually pans out.

Basically what it means is that we watch everyone else to our south get the goods in the form of leading or mid-event snow, then right at the end it snows here… and then it changes to rain and melts.PortKells wrote: ↑Tue Jan 24, 2023 4:17 pm This has to be the most under-hyped arctic outbreak i've seen here. This site is so making me not to came here right now. I get logged out every single time and I am just not up for it right now. Like Monty said while back, it's frustrating, this has to get better or people will stop coming here.PortKells wrote: ↑Tue Jan 24, 2023 4:17 pm This has to be the most under-hyped arctic outbreak i've seen here. ah, that's what I thought I understood. It's odd, to me at least, that the two urls act differently.stuffradio wrote: ↑Tue Jan 24, 2023 8:02 am There are two urls that point to the same website. I bought two domains and I didn’t want two separate forums so they point to the same directory
A little bit foggy tonight.

No point to cold if there isn't any snow, imo at least.

Re: January 2023 Forecasts And Discussions
That's how mine looks too but when I checked forums.bcstorm.ca (no s on storm) shows the same so it's hard to tell the difference between the two just by looking at them.Typeing3 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 24, 2023 4:15 pm I don't see the BC Storms logo at all. This is what it looks like for me:

Re: January 2023 Forecasts And Discussions
I hear you. It is hard to get hyped up after having 50 cm of champagne powder just over a month ago. But I think this one could overperform, at least in terms of length. Too soon to say if the block disintegrates. Thinking of 2014, we didn't get snow at first but in the end we probably ended up with more than our southern neighbours.Rubus_Leucodermis wrote: ↑Tue Jan 24, 2023 4:22 pm Basically what it means is that we watch everyone else to our south get the goods in the form of leading or mid-event snow, then right at the end it snows here… and then it changes to rain and melts.

that's exactly what I see as well but only as of yesterday morning. As Storm says you get logged out the minute you navigate away from the forum.Typeing3 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 24, 2023 4:15 pm I don't see the BC Storms logo at all. This is what it looks like for me:

prior to yesterday it was what Fish posted just above and I had no problem logging in nor staying logged in.
