I mean when is the last time May wasn't? Its as good as guaranteed. June seems to be the wildcard month lately.

I remember that June and into early July it was pretty cool but May doesn't stick out that much.

Edit: Actually was that the one where the farms were still flooded and there was massive flooding in the interior? But still that would be 5 years in a row.

Rode the mountain bike to the top of Lookout Mountain (about 800 m elevation). Only saw one little snow patch, up on top. Pretty amazing amount of melting, given how white those hills were not so long ago.
It's called clown range for a reason.

I think you're confusing that with May 2015 which was the driest May on record across much of the south coast.
