I have a good feeling about November and an even better feeling for December. Front loaded cold and snowy winter incoming.

l'd be happy with a decent December for the holiday's, by January higher sun angles tend to melt accumulating snow.

The CFSv2 seasonal is still going all in on a cold and possibly snowy December, depending where the ridge and trough sets up. :D :snowman:

Got this off another forum but this is the Dec/Jan/Feb 500mb height anomaly map all winters since 1950 with second year La Ninas after briefly transitioning into neutral conditions during the prior spring/summer.
Analogue years here include (see at the bottom of the pic as well):
1955-56, 1971-72, 1974-75, 1975-76, 1984-85, 1999-00, 2000-01, 2008-09, 2011-12 and 2017-18.

Another analogue blend I've seen is 1961-62, 1974-75, 2001-02, 2017-18 and 2020-21.
