Cold and snowy?
Is this one of those rare years we see the first lowland snows around end of Oct/start of Nov?
I'm liking the "earlier" trends buttees
Of course it could easily be 18c and bommy during this strong EN, but instead March starts out troffy and chilly!  Bring on some 18c sunny days
Willoughby Langley at ~320ft / Similkameeeens ~3400ft

I remember we had snow in November in 2010, at least I did. I don't remember if we had any November snow since then.

We had some snow in November 2011 as well.

2010 was the last significant cold/snow event in November though.

Nov 3 2017 was good in Cumberland where I happened to be at a music festival. Snowed all day and most of the night, got about 15 cm. I think the lower mainland struggled to get a trace as it usually does.

2010 snowfall was significant for November. I recall picking up 2-5cm before the arctic blast and about 10-15cm in the overrunning event after.

Forgot about that one. Yeah it was cold rain most of the day across the lower mainland while the central and east Island scored big.

We did get a couple cm with a couple precip bands on the backside of the low later that night, which promptly melted by the next afternoon.
