Of course it could easily be 18c and bommy during this strong EN, but instead March starts out troffy and chilly!  Bring on some 18c sunny days

That's because Penticton was the 6th wettest place in BC yesterday while Osoyoos was the driest place in BC yesterday....

EDIT: Wow, one private station in Williams Lake recorded 113mm yesterday. That's got to be a mistake.

Yeah but not bad for 2 min from village and casting from shore. 10"-11" typical , 12-13" would be a trophy. That would go for most lower mainland lakes..still fun, still a kid at heart..catch n release.

I find this one odd....who thinks of their neighborhood in terms of electoral district?

or am I being way too urban with that comment?

Pretty sure those areas don't fall inside any city/town boundaries, hence why they're classified by electoral district.

My guess is l'm not sure if we come close to those temps. again this summer perhaps upper 20's lower 30's that's close but l'm not feeling it this summer we'll see.

l would think Americans think electoral districts more than we do. But up here it would be confusing where would you go to look it up? electoral maps? easier to just go by street boundaries.IMO

Looking forward to some sunshine tomorrow this cloudy stuff does start to get tiring since we see enough in fall/winter.
July and August are awesome as long as we don't fry too much.
It's 18c @ the pond in south Sardis and cloudy skies.

Living in a rural area I know my local electoral district and it is used quite often, in the paper, the Regional District, etc. It's much easier than trying to define the area using street names, and area names like Roberts Creek are a bit vague, I'm not actually sure of the boundaries of RC.
