These events occur periodically, and the bulk of the precip that falls in the summer months in the Similkameens is from weather like this.
I saw some similar reports from Tulameen, although it was closer to 1.5-2" (40-50mm)

Wouldn't that wash away the Similkameeeeeeeenzzzzzs into the Tulameen river making it B.C.'s largest mud puddle. :D and a tourist attraction.

My riding area was devastated by the water last fall.
