Felt like August out there today, high of 22c, warm air and sunshine, best type of day!

Whole lot of these cute Wooly Bears roaming my place. They actually freeze solid in the winter, heart stops but they produce an antifreeze that protects their cells and then they thaw out when it warms up and continue on with life. :o

So weird that's it's 27 degrees right now while I decorate for Thanksgiving/ Halloween.
That's warm, high of only 22c here in Sechelt.

You could decorate for Christmas too! Supplies are in the stores already.

That's insane and an interesting nature fact thanks for sharing Ms. Woolycreeks. the only thing wooly @ the pond in south Sardis are my wooly undies that keep me from freezing 🥶 solid in the winter. :D it's currently 15c @ the pond in south Sardis.

Thank you again for all the ensembles you post!

The GFS has been trying to send us into unseasonably cold at the end of the model for over a month, first time I've seen the Euro agree

Fires

I use Earthnull: https://earth.nullschool.net/#current/p ... 47.89,1368
and then cross reference it with fires in the BC Wildfire site: https://governmentofbc.maps.arcgis.com/ ... 85abe2a41b

There's probably an easier way to do it but I'm not sure where to find it all in one site.
