Re: November 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
I agree. We still will get a big snow, just a bit messier and not more like 25cm than 50. Maybe a little messy but such is life on the borderline here.Typeing3 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 27, 2022 1:32 am Most realistic scenario. Big snowfall followed by a transition to rain. Rapidly deepening lows usually like to make landfall to our north and don't slowly sag south or hang just offshore.
Silver lining is there does not appear to be a significant warmup... may transition back to snow late Wednesday or Thursday.

Re: November 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
Was hoping for the Arctic air hammer as well Kells, but Perhaps a Knuckle win streak and Canada win today will help ease the blow.

Re: November 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
It could easily happen down the line in a pattern like this. The GEM hinted at it last night. We'll just have to wait and see what we get.SouthSardiswx wrote: ↑Sun Nov 27, 2022 3:36 am Was hoping for the Arctic air hammer as well Kells, but Perhaps a Knuckle win streak and Canada win today will help ease the blow.

And the 06z GFS is trending warmer overall. Expected.
Nito what is going on here with the flip flopping of models? Lol. Not even 24 hours ago we were all getting buried in snow for days and days
Now...the slush festival is back! Wetcoast style. Tell em Nito

Of course it could easily be 18c and bommy during this strong EN, but instead March starts out troffy and chilly! Bring on some 18c sunny days

Re: November 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
Most other areas it's just going to be a sloppy few days for the most part according to the current model trends. The silver lining is that the Similkameens will still score through the entire event. All snow 100%
