Daily historical data for Kamloops. I wonder how many roofs blew off?

Seriously, this reading of 235 km/h max wind gust on September 2, 2015 was obviously a station or website technical issue.

Models keep moving up the timeline. NAM has convective activity moving in the late morning and early afternoon. Brings threat of rain into the area by 1pm. GFS brings in the plume by 6pm.

I would bet on the earlier timing due to the convective airmass aloft streaming in on Sat morning. The initial burst of high based tstorms may not bring much rain and may be confined to the Mountains. There will be a lull before a shortwave associated with the low brings in a 2nd round of tstorms with heavy rain sometime at 5-6pm.

Unpredictable here. There is potential for severe t storms for sure, however all it takes is a weak marine push to really just kill it in a hurry.

The Pacific giveth the rain and wind but they usually taketh the snowstorms and they taketh the thunderstorms.

My money is on you guys in the valley getting hit the hardest. Also the latest HRDPS has an insane band of rain smacking the Okanagan, could spell some flooding troubles there if it verifies.
