Honestly, no better reason to get a bit sick then to get immunity to the disease. The astrazeneca shot apparently you got the worse side effects on the first shot, as opposed to the Mrna shots like moderna.

Got this of Tyler Hamilton Twitter. Question I have is why are we being told we need a shot to protect others if this shows that won’t be the case ? The shot only helps those who get it. Explain please if you know thanks

Well if you can avoid symptoms then you are avoiding some of the major ways of transmitting like coughing. Not only that but if you do get an infection after vaccination then your viral load will be far less, meaning more difficult to shed virus.

I think one of the less understood things about this is asymptomatic spread vs presymptomatic spread. I don't think those two things are the same. I have read that presymptomatic is more dangerous as you can be carrying a high viral load but your immune system hasn't started to kick out in yet. As opposed to asymptomatic where you might have a lower viral load therefore your immune system doesn't respond as severely.

What's your take on the AZ kerfuffle Mr. Kells? all the talk that it may not be recognized if you want to travel to the U.S.

Well, guess I'm not going to the USA. LOL. Wasn't really planning on it anyways. Did they say if you only got half AZ its a problem? I ended up getting Moderna for my second shot.

l think it's sort of been straightened out Mr. Kells talk was you couldn't go see the Boss (Springsteen) on Broadway in New York if you had the Z shot as it wasn't approved in the U.S.

Kill the thread you mean? Doesn't matter to me, but Its definitely not done in many places around the world. Apparently Australia is even struggling. But it does appear that here in Canada its become a communicable and seasonal virus which is cool.

Its pretty fricking awesome to see the vaccine uptake here in BC, over 80% now. That is the key to us enjoying life right now.
